Product Disclaimer – Custom Tees

At Custom Tees, we strive to deliver high-quality, custom-printed apparel made to your exact specifications. However, due to the nature of custom printing and apparel production, certain industry-standard variations and limitations may occur. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the following conditions:

1. Color Accuracy & Matching

  • Screen vs. Print Color: Colors may appear differently in real life compared to digital screens due to differences in screen calibration, lighting, and fabric type. Slight color variation is considered standard and does not constitute a defect.
  • Pantone Matching: Exact color matching is only guaranteed when a Pantone (PMS) color code is provided prior to production. Even then, minor deviations can occur depending on the fabric and printing method.
  • Gradient Effects: Gradients and soft blends may not replicate perfectly on fabric. Slight banding or tonal inconsistencies may occur and are not grounds for reprints.

2. Artwork Placement & Scaling

  • Proportional Appearance: The same design may appear larger on smaller garments and smaller on larger garments due to proportional scaling. This is standard practice in the apparel printing industry.
  • Placement Tolerance: A margin of ½ inch to 1 inch in any direction for artwork placement is within accepted tolerance and is not considered a misprint.

3. Fabric, Fit & Material Behavior

  • Fabric Ink Absorption: Color brightness and ink behavior may vary depending on the fabric type (e.g., cotton vs. polyester).
  • Size Chart Accuracy: Please refer to the provided sizing chart carefully before ordering. Variances between brands and batches may occur, and we do not accept returns for incorrect size selection.
  • Print Texture & Weight: Depending on the complexity and ink density, some prints may feel thicker or slightly raised, especially in multi-layer designs.

4. Post-Wash Appearance

  • Minor Cracking on Prints: In some cases, customers may notice minor cracking on printed areas after washing the garment. This is a common characteristic of many custom printing methods and does not indicate a defect or poor-quality print. These slight visual changes are considered normal wear and are part of the natural aging process of printed apparel.

5. Customer-Supplied Artwork

  • Design Accuracy: We print exactly what is provided. Errors such as typos, poor image resolution, incorrect file versions, or misaligned layouts are the customer’s responsibility.
  • Final Approval: Customers are responsible for confirming all design details prior to submission and checkout. Once approved, the file moves directly into production.

6. Physical Handling & Finishing

  • Minor Imperfections: Occasionally, garments may show small lint particles, thread inconsistencies, or light ink markings from the curing process. These do not impact product quality or wearability and are not eligible for reprint or refund.
  • Shrinkage: Minimal shrinkage may occur after the first wash depending on the fabric.
